Installing

  1. Run the installer (it needs administrator rights). The VST3 goes in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 unless you choose another folder, and the standalone app in C:\Program Files\STRIDENT.
  2. Rescan plugins in your DAW, or launch the standalone app from the Start menu.
  3. The first time STRIDENT opens, it puts the factory sounds in Documents\STRIDENT\Patches. Your own sounds and patterns are saved under Documents\STRIDENT too.
  4. Once you buy, open STRIDENT's settings, go to License, paste your key and press Activate.

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because the installer is new. Choose More info then Run anyway.

Updating and uninstalling

To update, run the newer installer over the old one — your sounds, patterns and license are kept. To remove STRIDENT, use Settings → Apps in Windows; your sounds, patterns and license stay where they are.
